The Albemarle county board of supervisors met on Wednesday to discuss many issues involving members of our community.
One of the major issues on the agenda was a transferable development rights proposal; which asks the board to protect the rights of citizens owning land in rural areas.
The proposal would protect the rights of rural land owners from allowing development on their land.
An agreement could not be reached at the meeting.
The board plans to re-visit this issue at a work session planned for next Wednesday.
