It may be warm out, but that's not keeping hundreds of local boys from enjoying the adventure of a lifetime.

Cub scouts and Webelos from around the area are in the midst of a week-long summer camp at the Chris Greene Park in Albemarle County.

They're doing all the sorts of things they're probably not allowed to do at home: firing sling shots, bb guns, and even bows and arrows.

They're also enjoying the old summer standbys like fishing and swimming.

The camp ends Thursday with a nighttime camp out under the stars.
