A group of female middle schoolers are learning about science and technology through Legos.
Five girls make-up the Village School Retro Robots Team, where they build robot out of Lego's, that must perform missions. In their first competitive season they placed second overall in regionals and also took second in the teamwork award at states.
"We're all girls and we all work together and it's just really fun and I think we all like doing it," said 6th grader Emily Wood.
The girls have been working on their robot since school started.
