More than a thousand pairs of shoes will soon be on the feet of those in need thousands of miles away.

SNL Financial and The Charlottesville Running Company joined forces to collect 1,100 pairs of shoes for the Souls4Souls Organization. The non-profit provides shoes to people in more than 125 countries.

In addition to all the shoes, the SNL Cares Foundation donated $5,000 to the organization.

While the campaign was a success, they are always looking for more donations, said Dr. Francesca Conte of the Charlottesville Running Company.
