Students from Greenbrier Elementary School spent some time this morning celebrating Martin Luther King's birthday.
The 30 minute program included readings from poems about Reverend King, singing and of course, a birthday cake. One Kindergartner says everyone should celebrate the life of one of the country's most important civil rights activist.
"The reason why he is important is because he was an important man because he died," said Kindergartner Infinity Waller.
This is the 15th year Greenbrier Elementary School has done the Martin Luther King Day program. It is organized by the school's Multi Cultural Committee.
