People gathered Tuesday night in North Garden for the Albemarle County Fair's opening night. The fair has everything from rides, entertainment and crafts, to livestock.
The highlight at the fair on Wednesday will be special a day designated for people with special needs and senior citizens. This gives people who may not be able to enjoy the fair otherwise, a chance to have fun at the fair without the crowds.
The fair runs through Sunday. The hours are Wednesday through Friday from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.
