Man Hit By Car
A man suffered serious injuries after being struck by a car while trying to cross Route 29 during rush hour.

Around six tonight, Albemarle County Police say a man was hit while crossing the southbound lane of Route 29 near Branchlands Boulevard.
The man, who is believed to be in his late 30s, was taken to the University of Virginia Medical Center for serious injuries.
Police say the driver of the car that hit the man is fine.
