More and more people are switching to high-definition TV. HDTV's cost more than the traditional TV, but prices have constantly been dropping. High definition can change the way you view programming like sports.

"You can actually see the stitching on the football. It's like you're literally there in front of it. It's amazing the difference," said Norman Hawes from Crutchfield.

Many people get their set out of the box and hook it up as if it was a traditional TV. They may not be getting the most out of their set.

Right now, the only way you can watch ABC16, WAHU FOX27 and CBS19 programming in high definition is with a HDTV cable box from Comcast.

CBS19, ABC16, WAHU FOX27 and My C'ville TV are available in digital format with a set-top or roof-top antenna. It's not quite as sharp as high definition, but much clearer than our traditional signal.
