Fire officials responded to a fire that happened early this morning. A mother and her son got out of the fire safely.
It happened around 3:15 a.m. Monday morning. Fire crews from several departments arrived to find flames covering the house. They say the fire started in the kitchen.
No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The family that lived in the home is now staying with relatives.
