Like flies on honey, so are people on sleds, when it comes to snow days.
Washington Park in downtown Charlottesville was covered in snow, and snow lovers.
And it does not matter what age people were. Both young and old took to the hill, all thrilled to have the day off.
"I thought, 'yea, I am so happy. I want to go outside and play. I should jump around,'" said Todd Butler.
His father, and namesake, was just as excited. "It is perfect. Anytime we can get some snow, it's great," declared Butler. "I'm going to do absolutely nothing. Just enjoy the day off and, spend some time with my son."
The sledders said the conditions were perfect for sledding. The snow was easily packed down and it wasn't too cold
