A new contract for GE Fanuc could save hundreds from losing their jobs in Albemarle County.
The Massachussett's-based company says it has a new order worth $645,000 to build parts for the main battle tank, the Abrams Tank, used by the Army.
On August 18, word got out that GE and Fanuc were splitting up.
Employees at the Albemarle County facility are still waiting for word on whether the corporate divorce will mean jobs lost in our area.
