The region's first business conference especially for women took place Thursday.

The brainchild of women in the area, put on by the Charlottesville Chamber of Commerce, got its name 'Quadruplicity' for a very specific reason. It is meant to help women succeed in the four major aspects of their life: life, career, money and health.

The event gave women an opportunity to not only network, but listen to panels, and also attend seminars. The topics ranged from stress management to where business opportunities are in our area.

The goal is for women to be able to succeed in all four major aspects.

"We hope that they have some tools that they can use to create opportunities for themselves within the Charlottesville community," said Chair, Jennifer Till. "And we are also hoping that they can have some tools with how to balance their lives both professionally and personally."

The Charlottesville Newsplex was a proud sponsor of this event.
