A car crash killed one person and sent three others to the hospital Friday night. It happened on Woodlands Road near Earlysville shortly after 7 p.m.
Investigators said the driver of a Honda Civic rammed into a pickup truck. One person inside the Honda was killed.
"It appears one of the cars did not use their brakes and may have just run through the stop sign on Reas Ford Road, so that's what we're dealing with right now," said Albemarle County Police Sergeant Pam Greenwood.
The investigation into this accident is ongoing.
