Newsplex anchor Dan Schutte spent part of his weekend dancing with the stars. Dan competed against other well-known locals at the Critter Disco Ball to benefit the SPCA.
Dan and his partner danced the tango, although one judge said she couldn't see the tango in their performance.
Despite his best efforts, Dan couldn't overcome the duo of Barbara Sieg and Terry Dean, who won the event. He was, however, commended by judges for working up a sweat and putting on a good game face.
Dan and his fellow stars helped raise about $100,000 to support animals at the SPCA.
