Blue Ridge Multiple Sclerosis Society Needs Help

March 8, 2007

The Blue Ridge Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis society says they need your help.

The organization is trying to recruit members to walk in the annual MS challenge walk. The event is a two day 30 mile walk from Annapolis to Baltimore, Maryland in September.

The event aims to raise money for MS research in hopes of someday finding a cure.

"MS is a devastating disease that affects everybody in a different way. So if we can raise money to try to end it, find a cure for it, stop it, reverse it, that's what we're doing. I've participated in the last two challenge walks and its just an amazing weekend, just the camaraderie of everybody there trying to pull for a common cause is just great" said Mike Jennings, Blue Ridge Chapter, MS society.
