Saturday, we told you they learned all the techniques to safely remove someone from a wrecked vehicle. This afternoon, they combined everything they learned to get patients out of a bigger accident scenario.
“You've learned all the small techniques, let's get it all together and let's see if we can free these people with out hurting them and hurting ourselves,” said Michael Madison, Training Instructor.
About sixty people from all over Virginia and even as far away as Nebraska took the class. This is the 16th year the Charlottesville Albemarle Rescue Squad hosted the class.
