A judge ruled against the owner of a local business hit with several sign violations.
The owner of the Arby's at Forest Lakes, Tom Slonaker, will have to pay Albemarle County a $3400 fine.
The County hit Slonaker with four sign-ordinance violations since the beginning of 2009. The County argued that the signs cover more than 25% of the window, which is against the rules.
Slonaker argues that the County unfairly targeted his business.
