The deaf homeless man accused of starting a fire at the Charlottesville Church of Christ was found guilty Thursday of burglary, arson, and petty larceny.
Jason Santos was given a 12 month active sentence. He's spent most of that time in jail so he may be released soon. He has also been ordered to pay a 150 thousand dollar fine in restitution to the church.
The amount is the difference between what the insurance won't pay for building the new church.
