A man and woman from Albemarle County are recovering from their injuries after being shot in a car Thursday night.It happened at the Blue Ridge Commons Apartments off Prospect Avenue.

The victims, an 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man, told police they were sitting in a friend’s car when they were shot. The victims had limited descriptions of the assailant, but said that the suspect was a man with some type of covering over their face.

Both victims are being treated at the University Of Virginia Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
