A man who directed crime shows on TV is living out a real-life crime story.
76-year-old Raymond J. Devere-Austin of Earlysville is charged with stealing several items worth more than $200 from the Antiquers Mall on Route 29 in Ruckersville.
Devere-Austen's directing resume includes shows like Jag, Zorro, The Fall Guy, and Magnum PI. He's also written several mystery books.
