Gubernatorial candidate Bob McDonnell and his Republican ticket mates are warning supporters not to get complacent because of their large lead in the polls leading up to the Tuesday election.

McDonnell, Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling and attorney general candidate Ken Cuccinelli told more than 100 supporters in Fredericksburg Saturday morning to not take the lead for granted and to urge their friends, neighbors and fellow church members to vote.

The Republicans were joined by Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, who chairs the Republican Governors Association. Barbour reminded supporters that "Polls don't elect people. You elect people at the polls."

Recent polls have shown all three GOP candidates leading their Democrat opponents by comfortable margins.
