State Army National Guardsmen Called To Duty

Some Virginia Army National Guardsmen from three armories are being ordered to active duty.

The armories include 149 soldiers from Staunton, 172 from South Boston and Roanoke. Soldiers will report to their home armories next month before traveling to Shelby, Mississippi for mobilization.

The guardsmen are being ordered to active service for 13 months in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
