The mother of the 9-month-old infant who died last week of hyperthermia was charged Friday with felony child neglect and felony homicide.
Police say that Raelyn Alene Balfour left her son Bryce Balfour unattended in her car for nearly eight hours in the Judge Advocate General's Parking Lot at UVa.
Mrs. Balfour met officers at the Charlottesville Juvenile and Domestic Court where she was served with the warrants.
