Firefighters Battle Fire at Albemarle County Apartment Complex
Albemarle County firefighters responded to a fire at the Abbington Crossing Apartments Friday afternoon. The fire displaced two families who are being helped by the Red Cross.

Albemarle County firefighters responded to a fire at the Abbington Crossing Apartments Friday afternoon. The fire displaced two families who are being helped by the Red Cross.
There were no injuries. Firefighters say they got a call around 3:20pm Friday afternoon to respond to a two alarm fire at 914 Sumpter Court.
The two neighboring homes were also damaged due to smoke and water. Officials say those damages were not extensive.
Officials say they're still investigating the cause of the fire.
Neighbors tell CBS19 that the same building caught fire several years ago.
