For the second day in a row hundreds of volunteers fanned out around Charlottesville to search for clues into the disappearance of Morgan Harrington. Saturday marked day 21 of her disappearance after walking outside of a Metallica concert at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville.
About 700 people came out Saturday to help find her as part of a three day search effort that will wrap up on Sunday.
Volunteers from as far away as North Carolina and Maryland spent the day combing through 1.5 miles of terrain near the area where Harrington was last seen. Searchers say they can't tell us exactly what they found Saturday because all of the things they tagged will be passed onto police. Once that happens investigators will then decide if flagged items will become pieces of evidence.
Organizers say the way they handle the third and final day of this search won't be much different than the past two days.
"The objectives for Sunday will be much the same as they are today of just looking for anything that might lead us to Morgan” said Janice Liggett a volunteer coordinator for the Laura Recovery Center for Missing Children.
As volunteers signed out and headed home for the day Saturday night they say they still have hope someone will turn up something. Many of them will be back Sunday because the search for Harrington feels personal.
"I'd want somebody to do it for me” said volunteer Dallas Mullins. “I’d want somebody to do it for my sisters. And I hear about these things being in far away cities and towns where I can't do anything about it and here it is right here in Charlottesville so, I just wanted to do something to help."
Anyone who is over the age of 18 and has a state issued photo ID can come out and help with the search Sunday. You can start signing up at 9 a.m. at the Department of Forestry which is located at 900 Natural Resources Drive in the Fontaine Research Park in Charlottesville. Volunteers can sign up as late as 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Sorry i meant Heather From Charlottesville not nevada..
Heather from nevada ,arent you being overy sensitive and a bit ridiculous saying that someone should investigate Barb just for commenting and expressing an opinion. We are living in a democratic sociaty and have freedom of speech. This person is just expression their own opinion and is entitled to..Just because you dont like what they have to say doesnt mean they cant be right. There are people going to see some concerts from all over the world not just from inside america. You know they are just saying what many people are saying that she could have been murdered and dumped somewhere. Its not the reality we all want to hear or believe has happened but it would be unrealistic to rule it out. There is every possibility this young lady has been murdered and dumped somewhere..thats the reality so face up to it.. are you going to have me investigated also for speaking my mind...sorry you need to grow up a bit..this is a dangerous world we live in especially for beautiful vunerable young woman.
my fiance and i want to continue to search anyone willing to help we need to get together soon and somewhere a keep looking the more people the more area there has to be more we can do
