Economist Alan Greenspan will be at Monticello Friday to receive the Inaugural Thomas Jefferson Foundation Medal in Citizen Leadership on Friday at 7 p.m.
The award was created to honor personal leadership and lasting cultural influence in fields that interested Jefferson. The medals are sponsored by the Thomas Jefferson Foundation and the University of Virginia.
Greenspan's medal will be presented by UVa president John Casteen. The event will not be open to the public.
