Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling announced Wednesday a statewide initiative to focus attention on the challenges Virginia faces and to get input from citizens on how to face those challenges.
100 Ideas For The Future Of Virginia is designed to give citizens the opportunity to share their thoughts on challenges with state leaders.
"If we're going to prepare our state for the future we have to talk about these challenges and build consensus around ways to address them" said Bolling.
Bolling will be traveling across Virginia meeting with local leaders and citizens in the coming months to talk about how to face challenges the state faces focusing on several issues including public education, higher education, transportation, public safety, health care, the environment, fiscal reform, and government reform.
Bolling will hold Town Hall idearaisers in different parts of Virginia, the first of which will be held Thursday in southwest Virginia. For more information or to submit your ideas visit the website below.
