Albemarle County Supervisor David Wyant announced Wednesday that he will run for re-election.
Wyant was elected to board back in 2004 and now serves as vice chairman. He says that he's worked to save the rural character of the county and points to the implementation of the Crozet master plan.
"I've accomplished a lot in really understanding the infrastructure and development as needed, but also putting money in the classroom and educational system and putting the every day person's approach to running county government" said Wyant.
Wyant is a professional engineer and a graduate of UVa with degrees in civil engineering.
