Repairs to the road will close one lane of Interstate 64 westbound overnight on Thursday.
The closure is just west of the Ferncliff exit in Louisa County for the emergency repair of buckled pavement. Repairs will begin 6 p.m. Thursday night and are expected to go until Friday morning.
VDOT is asking drivers to be aware of of the work zone as they approach the area. The traffic through the workzone will change through the night.
