The Charlottesville Moms' Club walked around the city on Friday to pay respect to mothers who lost children.

In support of Virginia Tech, the moms wore maroon and orange. They met at the bookstore and writing wall, where they wrote messages to the shooting victims and their families.

They then hiked down Rugby Road to the Beta Bridge where they took time to remember those who lost their lives.

"We're just here in support of Virginia Tech and particularly in the support of families who lost children and especially those moms that lost children," said Marie Kronebusch, a member of the Moms' Club.

About 20 mothers, along with children and strollers, represented the Moms' Club in today's event.
