Students at UVa are reaching out to Virginia Tech in yet another way.
They set up a memorial wall where students can write messages to the Virginia Tech campus. Many students on grounds say they've been personally affected by Monday's shooting and say that this writing wall is a way for them to relieve some of their pain, sadness and frustration.
"To see the two schools come together during the tragedy was very touching and very warming and very telling of the students here at UVa, that even though there is this rivalry, we're still able to come together and support one another," said Whitney Wilcher, a UVa student.
The wall has been on grounds since Sunday, and students plan to keep it there until there's no space left to sign.
