Charlottesville Drivers Paying Under National Average for Gas
The price of gas is dropping just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. In Charlottesville, drivers are paying an average of $2.54 a gallon.

The price of gas is dropping just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.
The national average for a gallon of regular gas has dropped more than three cents over the past two weeks. It's now at $2.65, according to the National Lundberg Survey.
Cheyenne, Wyoming had the lowest price at $2.38 a gallon.
In Charlottesville, drivers are paying an average of $2.54 a gallon.

After being gouged in this area for well over a year with inflated gas prices, just because..."it was the thing to do," it is welcomed that the station owners are giving a fair shake to the citizens of the area that support their livlihood longer than for a visit. When gouging occurred we did NOT buy gas in Charlottesvville, but went to stations who were not into that sort of thing...just because. We had a financial decision to make also as do a lot of folks who have budgets.
