Charlottesville Mayor Dave Norris Gets Engaged, Shaves Beard for Charity
It was a big weekend for Charlottesville Mayor Dave Norris. The Democrat announced on his blog CvilleDave that he got engaged over the weekend to his girlfriend Sarah. He also shaved off his signature red beard for charity.

It was a big weekend for Charlottesville Mayor Dave Norris. The Democrat announced on his blog CvilleDave that he got engaged over the weekend to his girlfriend Sarah.
Under a post entitled "Befores and Afters," Norris says it has been a weekend of personal transformations.
In addition to becoming engaged, Norris also shaved off his signature red beard and mustache for a good cause.
On Sunday, Norris took the 'Mustaches for Kids" challenge. He has until December 18th to re-grow a mustache for charity. Proceeds go to such organizations as the Make A Wish Foundation and Children's Hospitals.
