It's a bit unusual to see men wearing high heels in public, but this Sunday, men from all across Charlottesville will don the shoes to raise money for a good cause.

This will be the first year Charlottesville will participate in the 'Walk a Mile in her Shoes' event to benefit the victims of sexual violence. The FBI estimates that a woman is assaulted every two minutes in this country. Organizers from S.A.R.A, the Sexual Assault Resource Agency, say this fun event is designed to raise the awareness of people to this very serious problem.

The event will kickoff at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Downtown Mall's Freedom of Expression Monument. Men wearing the heels will literally walk a mile and all to raise money for a good cause.
