New Principals In Albemarle Elementary Schools

Baker-Butler and Greer Elementary Schools now have new principals. The announcement was made the during Albemarle County School Board's work session Thursday.

David Cushman, currently the principal of Stony Point Elementary School, is moving to Baker-Butler Elementary. He will replace Keith Hammon who is retiring after 39 years of service in Albemarle County Schools.

Matt Landahl, currently Cale Elementary School principal, will move to Greer Elementary. He will replace Kimberly Cousins who is transferring to a central office position. Cushman and Landahl will start at their new positions on July 1st.
