Tour of Virginia Expected to Cause Delays

The Tour of Virginia makes its way through Charlottesville this Sunday, and the race is expected to cause some major delays downtown.

The race begins at the LexisNexis Parking building at 11 a.m. and will go down Water Street and West Main Street. The race will eventually head out into the county through JPA.

The riders will return in the afternoon, coming up Route 20 to Monticello Avenue. The race is expected to last until 5:30 p.m., and travelers should expect major delays downtown.
