Police Investigate Unidentified Body Found in Va. Lake
Mecklenburg County (WHSV) An unidentified body was found floating in Kerr Lake near Clarksville Saturday. The Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday regarding the body is that of a white man.

An unidentified man's body was found floating in a Virginia lake Saturday. The Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office released information Tuesday regarding the body that was found in Kerr Lake near Clarksville.
The body is that of a white man, possibly between the ages of 35 and 50. He was wearing blue jeans, a canvas belt and black Nike tennis shoes. There was no identification found on the body.
However, police say the man had a tattoo on his right shoulder of a black Doberman Pinscher's head. The word "CAPONE and the date "2-14-92" were tattooed beneath the dog's head.
The body was sent to the state medical examiner's office in Richmond for an autopsy and identification,
The sheriff's office is investigating this as a homicide.
