LGBT Resource Fair

May 6, 2007

An event in downtown Charlottesville on Sunday linked the gay community to gay-friendly businesses in the area.

Organizers say around 200 people showed up to the event this year.

About 45 businesses decided to participate this year, up from last year.

Organizers hope the numbers keep growing each year.

"We had all types of businesses, from financial planning to non profits, real estate, therapy, pretty much any one you would need," said Tammy Wilt.

This was the second year of the resource fair. They hope to keep gaining momentum and support for years to come.
