Kids teamed up with some volunteer carpenters on Monday to make luxury doghouses in Charlottesville. The project allowed kids to apply knowledge that they had learned during the school year.
"It focuses on teaching kids about using their talents and using their creativity to design doghouses, not just your regular doghouses but fancy dog houses. It's called pet playhouses," said project director Tammy Cavanaugh.
The houses were two stories, and one house even had a bar inside.
The doghouses will be on display in Charlottesville on May 18.
