Crack Down on Trespassing at Tonsler Park

May 9, 2007

Charlottesville Police are cracking down on trespassing at Tonsler Park. Authorities hope the crackdown will help control other crimes in the surrounding area.

Police say the 18 acres of brush between the park and the Blue Ridge Commons community are a problem. There have been reports of rapes, robberies and murders.

They say that removing some of the overgrowth will give criminals no place to hide.
