Saturday was the fourth annual Festival of Cultures at Lee Park in Charlottesville.

The event featured food, clothing and music from the different nations and nationalities represented in Charlottesville.

The event's organizers say it was not only a fun event for the whole family, but a way to show awareness for the city's diversity.

"Each person has their own talents, and sometimes we don't realize the talents that we have in our own city and this is a place where we wheel out everyone to celebrate their talents, whether it be music, or art, or food, and it's a chance for us to get to know one another," said Director of the Adult Learning Center Susan Erno.

The event was sponsored by the adult learning center of Charlottesville city schools.
