Break In at VFW in Charlottesville

Charlottesville Police are investigating a burglary at the Veterans of Foreign Wars post on Monday night.

Police said thieves broke into the building on River Road and stole some cash and a power washer. They caused more than $1,000 in damage and used a drill they found to try to pry open the safe.
