Albemarle GOP Announces Candidates For Office

The Albemarle County Republicans announced their nominees for local offices Wednesday. They nominated Kenneth Boyd and David Wyant for supervisor in the Rivanna and White Hall Districts.

Boyd will be running for his second term on the Board of Supervisors. He currently serves as the board chairman. Wyant will also run for his second term. He currently serves as vice chairman.

Jim Camblos received the nomination for Commonwealth's Attorney, where he currently serves. John Dawson, former Albemarle Republican chairman, received the nomination for Clerk of Court.

Charlottesville Police Captain Chip Harding received nomination for Sheriff.
