Former Sheriff Pleads Guilty

A former Henry County Sheriff pleaded guilty Thursday to charges involving a drug selling scheme.

Frank Cassell pleaded guilty to trying to sell drugs seized from criminals. He admitted making false statements to federal investigators looking into corruption in his department

He could get five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Cassell and 12 other members of his department were indicted last November.
