May 25, 2007

Louisa County Sheriffs are investigating a stabbing incident involving two women. Thursday Louisa County Sheriffs responded to a 911 call.

They arrived at the 2500 block Columbia Road in Louisa County to find two women who had been stabbed. A 28-year-old female received life threatening injuries and a 63-year-old female was treated and released.

Officials say 40-year-old Arthur Pokladowski fled the scene before authorities arrived. He's accused of attempted murder, malicious wounding, and breaking and entering with the intent to commit a felony.

If convicted he could face life in prison. Poladowski is described as a 5'7 white male, 170 pounds, with brown hazel eyes. Authorities say he should be considered dangerous.

Anyone with any information about the incident or the whereabouts of Poladowski is asked to call the Louisa County Sheriff's Office at 540-967-1234.
