CBS19's camera was rolling as a police officer tasered a man outside of Scott Stadium. The commotion happened during the Virginia Tech vs. Virginia Cavaliers football game.

The exclusive video shows police arresting the man and putting him into a police vehicle. He then jumps out of the police van while still in handcuffs. He runs across the street and up a hill.

After several officers weren't able to catch him, one of the officers pulled out a stun gun and tasered him.

No word yet on who the man is or why he was being arrested.

Everyone does understand that this guy was UNDER ARREST. NOT FREE TO LEAVE this includes running away. I would love to see 5 suggestions from all that oppose the officer's actions on how those people would handle the situation. Then I want to know how many of you have ever been police officers. Most of you are sitting in your living rooms Monday morning quarter backing every action the police take. They make decisions in split seconds. The officers don't have the luxury of thinking for hours or days on what they should do in some situations. Try supporting the ones that protect us and the ones we call when we need help. HE ESCAPED CUSTODY A FELONY....SUCK IT UP!

This is for Tammy over in "Waynesboro". Are you related to the lady who posted on the updated story?? "Also call the Prosecuter Get a ruling that no alchol beverage at the tail gate parties that should cut out alot of the drunk and disorderly under age drinking and while you are doing that catch the ones using pot u can walk through the tailgates and get a contact high also at the stadium so work on that." The ruling is in, and that is the longest sentence ever!! Spell check would also work wonders. It is almost as bad as the post written on the updated news story by Burnt Mill Road. Again, if your post did not appear to be written by someone in elementary school, it would hold more weight.

How much danger to himself could he possibly be in hand cuffs? The police sometimes are just down right ignorant and should be ashamed to make this out to be a big deal. He did not run that far and You must get this mucho adrenilin rush performing in the public. BIG BAD COPS FOR SHAME I hope people write and call the police and put pressure on them for this ridiculous movement maybe they just wanted to get there picture on TV.
