Video Claims Missing Soldiers Dead

June 4, 2007

According to a militant video released on Monday, three soldiers who went missing last month have been killed.

The video offered no proof, only a close up of identification cards of two of the soldiers who were allegedly ambushed by insurgents. A voice on the tape blamed the soldiers' deaths on the American Army and its leaders.

The body of one of the missing soldiers was later found in Iraq's Euphrates River, but the other two remain missing. Family and friends of the missing men were made aware of the video and its claims over the weekend.
