Not long after some resounding victories during the 2009 election, the Albemarle County Republican Committee will host the declared GOP congressional candidates on Saturday morning.
Seven Republicans are seeking a shot to run for the 5th district congressional seat in 2010 against incumbent Tom Perriello (D). They are: Ken Boyd, Ron Ferrin, Robert Hurt, Jim McKelvey, Michael McPadden, Feda Morton, and Laurence Verga.
Also, Governor-Elect Bob McDonnell will be stopping by to thank the Charlottesville volunteers for their hard work during the 2009 Governor campaign.
The breakfast starts at 8:00 am Saturday morning (12/12) at the Golden Corral off Route 29.
McDonnell will be speaking at 8:30 am.
