Crash on I-64 Leads to Traffic Backup for Miles

Traffic on Interstate 64 and Route 250 East in Albemarle County is moving again following a single-car crash that caused a significant back-up during the morning commute.

The crash happened around 8:00 am Monday morning in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 64 near the Ivy exit.

Witnesses say the car went off the road and crashed into the median. Police have not released any information on possible injuries.
