Roads are in severe condition around Central Virginia, and now Dominion Power is reporting power and electrical outages across central Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley Saturday morning.
There are an estimated 1,500 to 2,000 people without power in Albemarle County.
The Dominion interactive outage map shows active outages scattered across Albemarle County and the City of Charlottesville. Most of the outages are north and west of Charlottesville, in the Forest Lakes and Crozet areas.
In the Shenandoah Vally area, conditions are a little worse. Out of 179, 848 households, 916 are without power. Out of more than 800,000 households in Northern Virginia, 47 customers are without power.
Dominion says customers can report outages by call their toll free number 1-888-667-3000.
